In 2023, I decided to follow my passion for weddings and began my journey by earning my wedding planning certification. To immerse myself in the industry, I started working as a wedding stylist, gaining valuable insight into the behindthe-scenes magic of wedding days. That year, I assisted with my first “intern wedding” and fell completely in love with the process.

In 2024, I began taking on weddings of my own, and a whole new world opened up to me. By 2025, I officially launched Jess The Planner, a wedding planning company based in North Bethesda, Maryland.

In addition to wedding planning, I bring extensive event coordination experience from working with Fortune 500 companies such as Marriott Headquarters, KPMG, and NBCUniversal. I’ve had the opportunity to coordinate corporate events and team-building activities, including special screenings and pre-release movie events. This background sharpens my attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish.

With a focus on personalized service, I guide my couples through every stage of planning with great organization and a calm, steady presence. I’m passionate about creating celebrations that are meaningful, joyful, and carefully curated to each couple’s vision.

Proud of my Salvadoran roots, I bring a deep love for family and celebration to every wedding I plan. I have a special appreciation for different cultures and traditions, and I’ve had the joy of working with many multi-cultural couples to create events that feel authentic, inclusive, and full of love.

I speak English and Spanish, and I’m a certified wedding planner currently advancing my expertise through the Event Management program at George Washington University. Above all, I’m a proud mom to my wonderful son, who inspires me every day.
