Hi, I’m Jessica (but I go by Jess), the planner behind Jess The Planner.

I’m a wedding planner based in North Bethesda, MD, serving couples across the DMV area. I specialize in month-of and day-of wedding coordination, providing personalized, hands-on support to make your wedding day run seamlessly. While I focus on coordination, I also offer full-service wedding planning in collaboration with trusted vendor partners.

Many couples hire me when their planning is already underway. My focus is on execution and coordination—creating a detailed timeline, managing vendors, and keeping everything on track so you can relax and enjoy every moment. I bring a supportive team to every wedding, ensuring the wedding party, vendors, and your guests are taken care of, no matter the size of your celebration.

Once you’re officially booked, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need, including planning forms to gather key details, vendor information, and wedding day priorities.

We schedule milestone meetings to review your wedding plans, align on logistics, and ensure nothing is overlooked.

Site Visit & Details Review
We walk through your venue and review timing, layouts, and transitions so everything makes sense before the big day.

Timeline & Vendor Coordination
We create a detailed wedding day timeline, connect with your vendors, and distribute the final plan so everyone is aligned.

Rehearsal & Wedding Day Support
We coordinate with your officiant—pastor, rabbi, or other—to help organize the wedding party and ensure the ceremony flows smoothly. By letting the officiant lead the rehearsal, we avoid confusion and ensure everyone knows their role. On the wedding day, our team manages vendors and the schedule, giving you the freedom to relax and enjoy your celebration.

Wedding Day Management

Our Wedding Day Management service is designed for couples who care deeply about the experience they and their guests will have on their wedding day. It's ideal for couples who have planned their celebration and want to fully enjoy it - without being responsible for directing logistics or managing the to-do list on the day itself. In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we step in to review details, confirm logistics, communicate with your vendor team, and build a comprehensive wedding day timeline.

We take over the direction, coordination, and execution of your plans to ensure everything unfolds smoothly and on schedule.

On your wedding day, our role is to manage vendors, guide the wedding party, and oversee the flow of events from start to finish. Your role is to be present, celebrate, and create.
